Morning Announcements

It's hard to believe I'm starting my second month at the job, which is going fairly well. You can't really complain when you're coming out of retail. My return to a professional setting has done wonders for my emotional health, and I'm thrilled to be utilizing my education and experience again. I was thrilled to have four holidays in September, also!

Evenings have been reserved for draft four of the manuscript, which I began about a week ago. Draft three came home in mid-September, and I'm enjoying the opportunity to incorporate feedback from my first beta reader.

Some Announcements:

Last week I was invited to the site of fellow writer Adam Coombs. Adam's a talented guy who enjoys networking with many different artists. You can read my feature here.

PACER'S National Bullying Prevention Center is sponsoring UNITY DAY on Wednesday, October 10. People around the world will link together by wearing orange in support of students who are bullied. Please join the thousands who have already pledged to sharing this message, and join the facebook page to learn more and help spread the word. Wear a shirt and take a stand. What could be easier?

HUGE CONGRATS to Davonna Juroe (D.L. King), who recently signed with an agent after her six year pursuit. Davonna was one of the first writers I met online and I'm thrilled to see her moving forward. She is definitely deserving.

I completed twenty-six workouts in the month of September. Just saying.

Finally, my fantasy team is abysmal. I'm willing to play like them for a tenth of their salary. Seriously; I wouldn't catch a single pass either. But I'd drop them much cheaper!

I leave you with this news clip highlighting a talented local teacher. Have a great week, everyone! And here's to a great October. Cheers!!

  1. Glad your new job has brought you peace. My fantasy team is doing well - at the moment!

  2. Hi Paul, I'm interested about this unity day. Is it specifically for bullying? And is it worldwide?

It's good to hear from you!

  3. Hey Paul! Thanks for the shout out! Glad that your new job is working out for you. 26 workouts?! That's pretty killer.

Feeling kind? Leave me some love.
